Overview

Kumo Ramen & Tea, nestled conveniently at 231 Peachtree St FC-13 in the heart of Atlanta, offers an inviting escape for lovers of authentic Japanese cuisine and refreshing tea. This restaurant skillfully blends the rich tradition of Japanese ramen with a modern, casual dining experience ideal for busy office workers, students, and anyone seeking a flavorful yet comforting meal downtown.

The ramen here is the star attraction, with each bowl crafted carefully to highlight deep, savory broths like the Tonkotsu and its spicy variant, infused with chili oils for those who crave a bit of heat. The Black Garlic Tonkotsu is another standout, adding a layer of aromatic richness that’s both bold and balanced. Chicken ramen caters to lighter preferences without sacrificing heartiness, presenting a well-rounded option for diverse palates.

Beyond ramen, Kumo offers a selection of Japanese street food staples such as Takoyaki, Pork Gyoza, and the ever-popular Tonkatsu. These dishes complement the main offerings and round out the experience with textural variety and familiar flavors. The inclusion of vegetable harumaki and satay broadens their appeal, accommodating a range of tastes and dietary preferences.

The tea menu deserves special mention, particularly the fruit teas like passion fruit, mango, and kiwi—each made with real fruit essences and customizable with optional toppings. These beverages are light, refreshing, and provide a perfect counterbalance to the richness of the ramen. The bubble tea receives notable praise for its authentic taste and quality tapioca pearls, which have quickly made it a favorite among regular patrons.

Customers frequently highlight the welcoming atmosphere and seamless service, which contribute to an overall enjoyable visit. The clean and neat space quietly supports a focused dining experience without unnecessary distractions. Whether grabbing a quick lunch between meetings or indulging in a relaxed dinner, Kumo Ramen & Tea fits effortlessly into the rhythm of city life.

For those navigating downtown Atlanta’s food scene, Kumo shines as a dependable spot where quality, taste, and comfort intersect. It’s a place where meticulous ramen craftsmanship meets vibrant tea culture, offering a blend that satisfies both the adventurous and the familiar eater alike.

I only ordered bubble tea, but every time I did it was perfect. You could taste you real tea and the tapioca pearls were delicious. Definitely recommend the bubble tea and I’m sad I didn’t get to try the ramen.

Very delicious Japanese gyudon (beef rice bowl). I bought a takeaway and the beef was tender and it came with some pickled seaweed and ginger. Nice! I'm going to try the ramen another day. This place sells also sells other Japanese dishes such pork cutlet and chicken cutlet Japanese curry rice. And there's also bubble tea! Wow! Great find in downtown Atlanta.

I got a passion tea with tapioca pearls and I enjoyed it very much! It was super light and refreshing and CHEAP!!! for being in Atlanta as a tourist my pockets have ran dry but I will pay 5.50 for this large a drink any day. Not to mention the service quality I was welcomed with warm smiles and speedy service; nothing more nothing less, perfect for the average introvert. Would come again!

This place became my go-to-place when I’m going to the office. Tried their spicy tonkotsu ramen, garlic one, and chicken bowls. Loved all of them. I’m so glad we finally have a bubble tea store in the food court. I used to walk to GSU and pick up from Moge Tea, but they are closed for a while. Peach oolong tea with boba and Thai tea (in the pic) taste really well. Will try others in the future. The cashiers are nice and welcome you with smiles. The place looked clean and neat.

This place was a pleasant surprise - the Eel bowl was very tasty, reasonable portion, and the service was very fast. The prices are a little dear, but given the competition in the other stalls in the food court, prices are about average. I will absolutely be coming back for more meals!
